Crossfit Lillington – Mayhem Affiliate – Kids (5-8)
Warm-up
Walk, jog, run sprint.
Put kids on runners or on the turf. Work in :20 intervals of walking, jogging, running, and sprinting. Talk about the differences in the speed. Do this for 6 minutes.
Skill
KB High Pulls
Teach the sumo stance first. Then, use the same cues as the deadlift for the first part of the high pull. Once they stand all the way up, teach to pull with elbows high and KB close to their body.
Practice for 5-6 minutes.
