Crossfit Lillington – Mayhem Affiliate – Kids (5-8)
Warm-up
Running intervals: walk, jog, run, sprint. 4-5 minutes.
Skill
wall walks/handstand holds
Demonstrate the wall walk with proper cues: start lying down, walk legs up, then walk hands backwards to the wall as close as you can get. Hold for 10 secs (if possible), then walk back down. For a fun challenge, see who can hold against the wall longer: kids or coaches!
Metcon (AMRAP – Rounds and Reps)
AMRAP 7:00
Team sled push. Put two kids on each side of the sled (two kids per team).
One team pushes 10 yards, then all four kids perform 3 uncurl burpees. The other team pushes 10 yards back, then all four kids perform 5 synchro jumping squats.
To assist with synchro movements, you may designate one person on each side to call “up” or “down.”
